Public Library Quilts

This project was a collaboration between myself and Public Library Quilts (Jess Bailey) to show curious beginner quilt makers how to sew a star block. The project was part of a fundraiser for the UK-based organisation Land in Our Names, which focuses on land justice for BPOC communities as a focal point for issues around food insecurity, health inequalities, environmental injustice & widespread disconnect from nature. Public Library Quilts sourced plant-dyed fabric donated from people all around the world to create a quilt using the star block pattern, which was raffled off to one lucky family.
